Turning On the Device: Before turnng on the devce, hold the devce away from

metallc objects ncludng your watch and jewelry.

Low Battery Life Alert: When the battery s low, the devce wll sound 3 beeps at start

up and wll contnue workng untl the battery des.

To turn on the devce, press and release the push button

once. The LED wll blnk once, a long beep wll be heard and

the devce wll start n the audo mode. To use the devce n the

vbraton mode, press and release the button agan. The devce

wll ndcate the mode change wth a short beep and vbraton.

Battery: To open the battery compartment, place your thumb on the recess, press

down and slde forward. Insert the suppled 9V battery payng attenton to the plus (+)

and mnus (-) poles. If the battery s nserted n the wrong drecton, the battery cover wll

not close.

360° Detection: RS Pnponter's detecton area s from the end of the probe to the

begnnng of the hand-held part and t oers 360° detecton. Ths allows you to easly

locate metals n a hole. It also enables you to quckly scan a larger area by holdng the RS

Pnponter on ts sde, at aganst any surface and fnd your target.

LED Flashlight: LED ashlght wll lght up automatcally n the dark. Except n very

brght envronments, you can also actvate the LED ashlght by coverng the lght

sensor on the devce wth your fnger.

Turning O the Device: To turn the devce o, press and hold the push button for a

few seconds. The devce wll produce 6 short beeps and turn o. Always keep the devce

o when not n use.

Belt Clip Case: When you are not usng the RS Pnponter, you can put t n ts case and

attach t to your belt or wastband so that you can carry t around securely.
